Denver, Colorado, May 29th, 2020--Cloud Clusters Inc., a cloud application hosting startup, added two database user roles--Super and Read-Only, which allows database owners to assign different role permissions to database users.
For security reasons, database users should be granted different permissions according to their roles and tasks. Therefore, on top of the current Read-Write permission, we have added two more permission options--Super and Read-Only. A read-only user can run read-only queries on a database. Users who need full root access to everything in a database are usually assigned Super permission. They range from specialist IT administrators, help desk people, and developers. With the support for various database roles, database owners will be able to manage the database in a more secure way.
To assign roles to a database user, you will need to go to the control panel > My Applications > DB & User > USERS.

Denver, Colorado, May 29th, 2020--Cloud Clusters Inc., a cloud application hosting startup, announced a new feature of its control panel: the integration of web shell. This update will allow clients to make application-related changes in a container by issuing commands themselves.
Clients can perform some application-based tasks in the control panel by clicking buttons. However, for more tasks, such as server administration tasks and complex scripts installations, clients have no permissions. We integrate the web shell to our control panel so that clients can carry out those tasks. Users will be granted root permission to the shell. They can perform operations, such as monitoring, debugging, and using CLI commands specific to the application in a container. To use this new feature, please log in to the control panel and navigate to My Applications > Web Shell.
What is a web shell?
A web shell is a web-based implementation of the shell concept. A web shell can be uploaded to a container to allow remote access to the container, such as the container's file system. It enables users to access a container by command-lines.
